Eisho, depending on if I can borrow someones tires, I may hit Sacraceway sometime in the next couple of weeks - let me know when you're going or want to go and we'll get together. Definitely fun, I used to drift with the hicas on and off (pull the fuse), but the viscous lsd wasn't very consistant. So now I have a 96 240sx open diff that I had welded for consistancy. And boy what a difference it made at the drag strip, autocross course and roadcourse - it just shoots out of the hole and corners now without pitching out as much as it used to stock.

Best run: 1.60 60', 11.319 @ 120.65 mph - 118 octane fuel (on 100 octane tune), 22 degrees of timing, 21-22 psi boost, 11 psi tire pressure (street slicks). "..know your car better... RACE IT!.. AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE.." "Drag racing is for fast cars... Autocross is for fast drivers... Drifting is for cheap tires..." I made up the last one.. |
